Bonnie’s talent in accessorizing to create optimal scale and impact is unmatched. Three-dimensional sketches, innovative new materials, and client inspiration pieces are used in step with her clients input to create seamless, impactful and truly stunning spaces. Her ability to interpret clients unique style from furnishings selection through color scheme composition continues to amaze and inspire even her most persnickety clients.
Bonnie Peet, a native New Yorker now residing in Bowie, MD, leads the Signature Design Interiors team in interior design awards. Most recently, her interpretation of modern chic incorporates all the elements of classic design with contemporary overtures. Her turn-key approach from design through project management assures clients are delighted with their final results.
Even in her prior healthcare executive management career, her vision easily enabled her to collaborate with teams of people to create spaces using color, space layout and furniture to modify behavior of children and adolescents. Bonnie’s creative interests include floral design, water color painting and cooking – for which she is a trained chef. Yet, the single thread connecting all of her endeavors has consistently been the simple joy of a life dedicated to the pursuit of beauty and well being for herself and others. Bonnie teaches business and design courses at the Prince George’s County Community College in Laurel and Largo, Maryland. She is a member of the Women’s Business Organization (WBO) of Prince George’s County, affiliated with Bowie Artist Guild; member of Riverdale Baptist Church in Upper Marlboro, where she serves in many capacities; and member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honors Society and the Chi Eta Phi Nursing Sorority. Bonnie is married to her husband of 22 years, Curtis Peet. They share a blended family including 2 daughters, 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
