For 23 years, our roots have been in interior decorating in Northern Virginia — and it's that deep expertise we've applied to remodeling. Our Story

Signature Design Interiors was founded by Sandra Hambley in 2003, who left a career in financial services to pursue a passion for creating spaces that are both beautiful and functional.

Whether your project spans multiple rooms and services or is focused on just one — a single bathroom remodel, a refresh of your interior finishes — you get the same team throughout, from first conversation to final walkthrough. The same team that can design your kitchen, manage the construction, and carry the vision through to the flooring in the room next door can just as easily focus entirely on the one space you have in mind.

We're licensed as a Class A contractor in both Virginia and Washington, D.C. — so if your project is here in Northern Virginia or across the river in the District, you get the same team and the same standard of work.
