I worked with Janet and had a great experience. My condo is fairly small with peculiar angles. Janet maximized the space with her design plan and found great furniture pieces for me. In selecting upholstery and draperies she gave me just enough options to choose from without overwhelming me. Everything was completed on schedule and she handled the entire install for me while I was away on work travel. It was seamless.

She came up with a plan that was consistent with my overall scheme but at the same time, fresh and interesting. She found some great pieces that I never would have found on my own and tie them in with my previous purchases and artwork. This was our first experience using a design firm. It was time to replace our worn couch and easy chair. We had recently moved from a home that had both a living room and a family room, to our current home that combined the two. We were seeking a look that had "flair" that would also be comfortable. We were very pleased working with Janet of Signature Design Interiors. The company was originally used to help with a paint color consultation. We liked Janet's design style so we continued to use the companies services for a facelift of our kitchen, entryway, and bedroom. She handled all of the scheduling with the contractors for us. Janet helped me from April - August 2016 to decorate my new row house in DC. I started without any furniture and Janet worked with me to systematically move through the house from dining room to living room, two bedrooms, and TV den. She was excellent at bringing me options and styles that matched my tastes, fit in with the exposed brick and flooring already in the house, and were available quickly (given I was already living in an empty house). She managed all the logistics, purchasing, delivery, and installation - and it was great to come home from work trips and vacation to brand new additions in the house. She also did a great job working with the wall art and accessories I already had while adding a few more to complement. The end result is a very comfortable, functional, and great looking house (while everyone who comes shocked I only moved into 4-5 months ago). Thank you Janet!

Janet Aurora was fantastic to work with and helped me make maximum the use of my existing furniture but still achieve the modern design I wanted for my new place. Janet came to my previous home to measure and inventory my existing furniture and met my realtor to measure my new home before I closed on it. She developed several design options with various price levels to work within my budget. All the options were presented in scale and placed in the floorplan of my condo.
There are several reasons I recommend Signature Design Interiors: (1) their process for design, layout, and creating options; (2) the quality of the furniture I purchased; (3) their willingness to integrate existing furnishings and even new furniture not purchased through them; (4) their ability to work within your budget; and (5) their people. I only worked with Janet Aurora but if the other designers show the same passion for their jobs, you will be happy with the results.

I have found Bonnie and Gina a pleasure to work with. They communicate in a timely manner and are very professional. I ended up having my kitchen cabinets and backslash upgraded and the end product is beautiful. Gina was at my house everyday the workers were there supervising them and to ensure if they had any questions she was there to help.
