Of all the rooms in your house, you probably spend the most time in your bedroom. That’s why it’s nice to have a bedroom that reflects your personality and provides a welcoming and tranquil space.  But for so many of us, bedrooms are the last place we decorate, simply because no one else is going to see it.  How do your bedrooms look? Perhaps your furnishings need to be replaced, the window treatments are outdated, or the walls are bare.  Does this sound familiar?

Here are a few ways Signature Design Interiors can help you spruce up your bedrooms:

  • Provide additional furnishings to finish off the room such as headboards, dressers, bedside tables, benches or chairs.
  • Source area rugs, lamps, art and accessories to accent to your existing furnishings.
  • Design and install window treatments that are beautiful and provide privacy.
  • Develop paint or wallpaper designs in the perfect color palette.
  • Personalize your children’s rooms to capture their passions with colorful murals, storage furnishings, bedding, and artwork.
  • Or, we can start from scratch by creating a new floor plan and decorating from top to bottom.

Here are some examples of bedroom decorating projects we’ve completed. We hope they will provide you with some inspiration.

In this spacious master bedroom with sitting room, we added custom window treatments and colorful artwork to complement the homeowner’s purple color palette. We also created a floor plan, selected an area rug and media console for her sitting room.

To lighten up this dark master bedroom, we created an ivory palette accented with teal and chocolate tones.  A wallpapered focal wall provides a backdrop for the custom leather headboard, bed frame, and crystal pendant lighting. Mirrored bedside tables, a textured area rug, and new window treatments complete the look.

Guest bedrooms need love too!  Here, we went with an elegant cream and mocha color scheme and added custom window treatments and a new headboard and bed frame.  New, hardwood floors replaced carpeting and add warmth that this space was previously lacking.

This master bedroom was a blank slate.  Since the blue family is associated with tranquility, this palette lends itself easily to the relaxed environment one would appreciate for their bedroom suite. An oversized, tufted headboard is flanked by mirrored bedside tables and rests against an accent wall painted Van Deusen Blue by Benjamin Moore. A crystal chandelier provides overhead lighting and a barn door replaces double doors to the bathroom.

Bright colors and a love of baseball and Lego-inspired this boy’s bedroom design. Two custom murals grace the walls and a fun, patterned rug ties the azure blue and orange color scheme together.
